The Last Honest Conservative
I don't agree with all his diagnoses or conclusions. But I'd like to say that if the majority of the opposition to progressives like me were more in the mold of this model, I'd be proud to have a loyal opposition with whom to debate. Sadly, that is not the case and I expect Richard Posner to be drummed out of the GOP (if he belongs) and conservative organizations any minute.
Read it. It's worth it.

Unless the GOP starts listening to people like Posner and kicks people like Palin and Limbaugh to the curb, I see them going the way of the dinosaurs.
Too bad, so sad.
